Jacob` Bortnik
I am primarily interested in the physics of the inner magnetosphere, the radiation belts, and the intricacies of the excitation, propagation, and wave-particle interactions that control radiation belt dynamics. I deal with both numerical simulation and data analysis (ground and space-based).
Candidates should have a background in physics, engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field. Candidates should also have strong computer skills, and an active interest in space physics.
